* Goede Straling efficiëntie. Meest FR4-based patches zijn zeer efficiënt omdat FR4 is zeer lossy op 5.8 GHz. Daarnaast meest array antennes hebben hogere verliezen in de feed netwerk. Dit ontwerp gebruikt in combinatie patches om de feed netwerk eenvoudig en verminderen deze verliezen.
